National Minimum Wage Increase 2026/2027
From April 2026, the National Minimum Wage rates have increased, with the National Living Wage now £12.71 per hour for those aged 21 and over. Other rates include £10.85 (18–20 inclusive) and £8.00 (under 18s and apprentices). These are the legal minimum rates employers must pay, and they apply to all eligible workers from 1 April 2026.
